Al Ameen Primary School was set up in September 2005 by members of the local community who really wanted to make a difference. The school began as an early years setting and gradually grew to become a complete primary school.

We are a single form, independent Islamic primary school registered with the Department for Education. Our school has been graded as a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted (Ofsted report 2017).

Our school has an early years unit and children may join us in the term following their third birthday. Our nursery and primary school are vibrant and motivating places of learning where every child matters and where we provide a safe, secure and warm environment for all our pupils to flourish. We recognise that all of our children are unique and we will do everything we can to develop them to the best of their ability.

We have a governing board who take the learning and development of our pupils seriously and work with commitment and energy alongside the school’s leadership team to improve oportunities for children.
