Applying for a place at our school

If you would like to apply for your child at the school, you may call us to obtain a school prospectus and application form, or alternatively you can download both documents from this website. Parents are also invited to visit the school; this can be with their child. 

Please ensure an appointment is made in advance of your visit as unscheduled visits cannot be facilitated. An application pack can be downloaded by using the links below. You may also complete the registration interest form below and someone will be in touch.

We are open to applications otherwise however these are at the discretion of the headteacher and are dealt with on a case by case basis.

Established

Al Ameen Primary School was established in 2004 who really wanted to make a difference in the community.

The Application Process

Submitting an application(Stage 1)

Please send your completed application form in to the school office. This can be done by email, post or by handing in to the school office. Email applications need to be sent to [email protected].

We recommend that applications are sent in good time as places are limited at Al Ameen Primary School throughout the year. If you are handing in the application form at the office, you will also need to bring in the following:

  • > child’s birth certificate
  • > passport 
  • > identification documents confirming your address (drivers license, utility bill, social security letter or telephone bill/ statement)
  • > child’s report from their previous school or nursery

Applicants who are sending in application forms by email will need to bring in these additional documents at a later stage but before the application can be processed.

Fees payable at this stage: Non-refundable £60.00 Registration Fee (applicants sending in forms via email will need to make this payment at a later stage but before the application can be processed. There is no registration fee for nursery applications.

Availability of places(Stage 2)

Following receipt of your application we will assess your application and if a place is available, we will contact you to inform you of the next step.

Offer of a place and enrolment(Stage 3)

After your application has been processed and a place is available, you will be offered a conditional place. A file will be created for your child and their teacher will be briefed of your child’s arrival. They will take time to read through your previous school’s report and make any adjustments to their planning.

General Guidelines

By making an application, you are not guaranteed a place. Places are allocated based on availability and in line with our admission’s criteria.

In case of oversubscription, pupils are placed on a waiting list in order of successful registration
