For children in the early years, the fees are different for those who are of compulsory school age and those who aren’t.
A child becomes of compulsory school age on 31 December, 31 March or 31 August following their fifth birthday – whichever comes first. If the child’s fifth birthday is on one of these dates, then they reach compulsory school age on that date.

Children who are not of compulsory school age are charged per session. During each school day, there are two sessions, the morning and afternoon session. If your child is eligible for EEE funding, then you will not need to pay for the funded hours. If your child is not eligible for funding, or is only eligible for part of the EEE funding then you will need to pay for unfunded hours.
The cost per hour for funded hours is based on the local authority’s defined amount.
Where parents are not funded, the cost per hour, chargeable by the school is £5.00 per hour, payable termly in advance.
